Company: Abergower Dental

Role: Technical specialist/trainee (full or part-time role available)

Location: Glasgow

Summary: Abergower Ltd is a manufacturer of medical devices, digital dentistry, and designer spectacles. We have a number of live projects at this time where we are developing new 3D manufactured products. 

You could be working with our specialists on: Digital dentistry, introducing a new line of 3D produced products. Medical device manufacture, 3D manufactured COVID-19 test swabs. And, General commercial products such as designer spectacles for leading fashion brands, including the production of unique and translucent material that offers lightness and uniqueness in the designer fashion market

Role: Research

Location: Blantyre, Glasgow - hybrid working can be accommodated

Summary: CeeD is an engineering & manufacturing network support organisation and is looking for a candidate to conduct an analysis of manufacturing base capability and needs. CeeD believes that there is still unmet demand for support and help in both technology-related areas regarding capability, but also skills issues, and blockages for companies to enable them to invest and grow. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop research and, or reach out to the manufacturing base focussing on the SMEs and start-ups that have needs to develop new products processes or general support with their manufacturing needs

Role: Graduate trainee (3 x roles available)

Location: Falkirk

Summary: Making SMEs more competitive, compliant and climate positive through a National Net Zero business enablement program for cohorts of 10 SMES at a time. Using carbon accountancy, certification, and removal to make their business and brand stronger and more investable, creating green skills, placements, and jobs for young people supporting the Accelerator program.
