CENSIS is the centre of excellence for sensor and imaging systems and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. They help organisations innovate and overcome technology barriers to achieve business transformation and reach global markets. As one of Scotland’s Innovation Centres, their focus is on creating sustainable social and economic benefit in the Scottish economy. 

BE-ST brings together world-class academia, government bodies and industry at all levels to future-proof the commercial and environmental road forward for our sector.

The Energy Skills Partnership (ESP) is a collaboration of Scotland’s colleges and industry partners established to increase Scotland’s capability and capacity to deliver the right skills for the energy, engineering and construction sectors. 

As the college sector agency we ensure a cohesive partnership demonstrating a responsiveness and collective capability to provide the skills required by industry.

From market research to product development, knowledge transfer, testing and product launches, MTBCOS assist businesses to capitalise on one of Scotland’s fastest growing adventure sports. MTBCOS is a centre for open innovation and has an extensive partnerships network which allows companies, both product and service based, access to national and international markets. 

The £21 million SeedPod centre of excellence in north east Scotland will be the go-to place to deliver industry’s ambition to grow the size and value of the food and drink sector. SeedPod will create opportunities for businesses to pilot advanced manufacturing processes and technology, scale-up production, inspire new product development and provide access to global market insights. 

The Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing stimulates and supports the remanufacturing community in Scotland and beyond, by providing the catalyst for collaborative links between academia and industry to work effectively on joint projects and demonstrators, identifying funding opportunities, and providing a central hub of knowledge and expertise to allow business to develop and sustain remanufacturing business models. 

The Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) is a strategic partnership of ten universities collaborating with industry and government to future-proof Scotland's position as a world-class centre of research excellence in engineering. The activities of SRPe focus on the provision of research solutions in key areas of opportunity for socio-economic impact, aligned with the engineering research strengths of Scotland’s universities. 

The Tay Cities Engineering Partnership (TCEP) is an innovative project bringing together resources of training organisations, public sector bodies and engineering employers across Tay Cities Region to establish Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (EAM) network.    

TCEP will drive transformation of manufacturing processes required to meet the ambitions of industry from implementation of robotics, artificial intelligence and the digital skills to operate those new engineering methods.
