Siobhan Campbell

Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer (CSCO)

Siobhan Campbell is the Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), where she drives the industry engagement, partnerships and collaborations that will transform the productivity, competitiveness, and growth of Scottish and UK businesses.

Prior to NMIS, Siobhan was Deputy Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department for Transport, where she led the Science, Innovation and Technology division, overseeing DfT's £100m annual R&D spend and building DfT's capability and capacity around innovation, futures thinking, and emerging technologies.

Immediately prior to NMIS, Siobhan was a technical director within WSP, where she was responsible for building new business areas, in particular around national security, monitoring and evaluation, innovation management, and behavioural change.  She has been a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences since 2020.
