Manufacturing and Facilities Director, BAE Systems Naval Ships

Jen is the Manufacturing and Facilities Director for BAE Systems Naval Ships based on the Clyde in Glasgow. In this role she is responsible for setting the direction of the manufacturing and facilities function. Key areas of focus are designing and implementing an improved operating model, building capability in the function and execution of all manufacturing scope associated with the T26 programme.

She has been with BAE Systems for over 20 years working in various roles. Jen spent 4 of those years in the BAE Systems Regional Aircraft business putting in place support contracts for the Fleet and then moved out of BAE Systems into procurement roles in the FMCG and electronics industries. Since 2009, Jen has been with BAE Systems Naval Ships across multiple shipbuild programmes leading the Supply Chain.

Jen was appointed into her current role in April 2024. She has a BSc (Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management, has completed her professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) and was awarded a MBA with Distinction from Strathclyde University.
