Skills Hubs for Net Zero

About this event

Join us for a quick-fire interactive session to learn about the NMIS Manufacturing Skills Academy’s (MSA) new community-based skills hubs to support growing manufacturers and their journey to net-zero.

As manufacturers in the supply chain are increasingly being asked to demonstrate carbon transparency in their processes, NMIS has joined forces with Net-Zero Nation to help businesses across Scotland achieve Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) accreditation.

Staring with a pilot in Orkney, it’s hoped the hubs will be rolled out in communities across the country.

Who will benefit?

This webinar is perfect for any manufacturing business in Scotland beginning its journey to net-zero, or anyone wanting to learn about support for Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) accreditation through Net-Zero Nation.

Speakers

NMIS Manufacturing Skills Academy Skills Director, Stewart McKinlay, Programme Manager, Jill Couto-Phoenix, and Gavin Tweedie of Net Zero Nation.
