From lasers to Python: develop in-demand skills 

Our free online and in-person training courses will help you develop in-demand skills required for Scotland’s emerging markets, such as digital and green technology.

Each course is delivered through the NMIS Manufacturing Skills Academy in collaboration with partner organisations, including CodeClan, West College Scotland, the Institute of Photonics and industrial partners at the forefront of digital innovation.

Offering a unique opportunity for free training that meets industry needs, some of our courses are general and run for half a day, while others are more specialised and hands-on, with smaller groups and longer duration.

Apply for your free training today to explore industrial cybersecurity, gain experience of SOLIDWORKS for computer-aided design, Python for programming, or learn about lasers and more.
