NMIS is operated by the University of Strathclyde. It is part of the High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult and supported by the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Island Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, Renfrewshire Council, South of Scotland Enterprise, and the Scottish Funding Council.
