Using the expertise of the NMIS Design Engineering team, this webinar will bring you up to date on the latest developments in engineering design, as well as the risks, regulations and standards that today’s innovators need to take into consideration on the journey from product design to manufacture.

You will hear from our team as they share interesting and informative case studies, give valuable advice on the challenges and important considerations that should inform early stage product development; from conceptual and prototype product development, verification and validation, mechanical design, CAD modelling and draughting through to tooling and fixture design.

You will also have the opportunity to find out more about the technology and expertise available at NMIS giving innovators, designers and engineers access to sophisticated cost modelling software as well as the largest team of metallurgists and material scientists in Scotland.

Cutting across all manufacturing sectors this webinar will provide an interesting overview to those involved in the design of new products in a manufacturing context whether it is for small, medium or large sized enterprises.  If you are a design engineer, mechanical engineer, product manager or innovator who works in this industry, this webinar is for you.
