NMIS Insights: a new dawn for sustainable cybersecurity with SICCAR

This event has now ended. You can rewatch the webinar below, or visit our YouTube channel for all other webinars.

In recent years, you may have increasingly heard the term, ‘digital ledger technology,’ (DLT). This technology is in vogue because it can revolutionise the way organisations work due to its improved security, helping with everything from tax collection to issuing passports and voting procedure protection.

DLT is making waves in finance, music and entertainment, art, supply chains of various commodities, and more. What’s more, it has the potential to massively cut down on paperwork, improving your business’s green credentials.

Join us for this NMIS Insights webinar in collaboration with the team at SICCAR, who have created a data sharing platform built with distributed ledger technology, as we answer critical questions about how DLT works and how it can easily be integrated into your business.

What we’ll cover

The session will explain Digital Ledger Technology (DLT) clearly and concisely, addressing common misconceptions and outlining ease of implementation.

Using examples of applications for the Siccar platform, we’ll help you understand how DLT can help your business produce trusted and traceable data.

You will also understand the robust application of DLT as an enabler for sustainable tracking throughout the entire value chain.

Myles joined SICCAR in 2020 as Partner Sales Manager. He has acquired a number of years of experience building commercial teams for Tech Start Ups. Previous to SICCAR he was the first full time employee at EdTech company Robotical helping the company to generate revenues of $1million+.

Myles joined SICCAR for three main reasons:

1. He’s excited about the space that Siccar operates in (DLT/Blockchain) and feels that the team is well placed to solve real pain points for businesses using an innovative platform.

2. There are impressive individuals both within the team and on the board.

3. Finally, the significant investment in the company in 2020 points to the fact that there is momentum building and he wanted to be a part of it!
