This event has now ended. You can rewatch the webinar below, or visit our YouTube channel for all other webinars.

Media and political commentators are increasingly touting a productivity problem in the UK when compared to other economies. But how many of us can really claim to understand productivity and the levers that affect it? Are people within manufacturing firms actually talking about productivity in their boardrooms and shop floors?

Join us for an insightful webinar that will get you thinking about the current factors impacting manufacturing productivity and the ways in which manufacturers can work towards improvement.

During this webinar, you will gain a valuable insight into the findings from a recent manufacturing productivity project from one of its main contributors, Professor Jillian MacBryde.  Jill will demystify manufacturing productivity, offer clarification on confusing terminology, and discuss the ways in which manufacturers are measuring productivity and the factors that influence it. Jill will also address future challenges for manufacturing productivity.

Cutting across all manufacturing sectors including food and drink, aerospace, automotive, and life sciences, this webinar will be of interest to anyone managing in a manufacturing context.

Jill MacBryde is Professor of Innovation and Operations Management at the University of Strathclyde.
