Demystifying Industry 4.0 for manufacturers

This event has now ended. You can rewatch the webinar below, or visit our YouTube channel for all other webinars.

Embracing Industry 4.0 and deciding what digital technologies to invest in can be overwhelming. Luckily, there is a wealth of support available.

Join us for this webinar in collaboration with the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS) as we demystify the fourth industrial revolution and explore key technologies such as additive manufacturing and digital twins, and the benefits that they can bring your business.

You will hear from Tom Gillespie of SMAS, who will outline their I4.0 assessment process, which helps companies identify the opportunities digital transformation could bring to the business and their readiness to undertake such activity.

We’ll also explain how digital twins can help reduce waste and increase predictability within your manufacturing processes and provide information on advances in additive manufacturing and the Additive Manufacturing Business Technology Support (AM-BATS) project, which offers free support to smaller manufacturers in Scotland to help them make the correct business, technology, and investment decisions in additive manufacturing.

Whatever your manufacturing business, whether you’re a whisky distillery or a large-scale forger, join us to learn how advanced in digital technology can help you enhance efficiency and reduce your bottom line.
